Invite and assign reviewers

Invite reviewers

In your collection, open the Users tab and click Invite Users (or Bulk Invite to add several at once, including by uploading a CSV). Enter each email, choose the Reviewer role, and send.

When can I assign them?

A reviewer must accept the invitation and set up their account first. Until then they appear under Pending Invitations and can't be assigned. Invitations expire after 7 days; resend or cancel them from the Pending Invitations list.

Assign submissions

Go to the Submissions tab, open a row, click the assignees icon, choose reviewers, and confirm. To assign in bulk, select submissions (filter or sort by tag to group them first) and choose Actions → Assign reviewers. You can put multiple reviewers on one submission, and check each reviewer's queue on the Reviewer Assignments tab (under a collection's Users tab).

Add AI as a reviewer

Add Springform AI in the same panel. Unlike people, AI is assigned instantly — no invitation or acceptance step — and can run across many submissions at once.

FAQs & common issues

  • Why can't I see a reviewer in the assign panel? They haven't accepted their invite yet.
  • Can I assign Admins or Members as reviewers? Yes — assigning them helps divide the workload. It doesn't restrict what they see (they still see all submissions); assigned ones simply get a badge.
