Build your submission form

Open the editor

From the Submission Form tab, click Edit Form. The editor has three panels: a content outline (the Form content panel) on the left, the canvas in the center, and a settings panel on the right when you select a block or field.

Add blocks and fields

Click Add content block to insert a section, then add fields inside fieldable blocks. Use structured blocks — Contact Info, Team Info, Company Info, File Upload, Video Pitch, Table Data, Signature, Terms & Conditions — for clean, consistent data, or a Form Fields block for custom questions. Every form starts with a Welcome Message block at the top and a Submit Form block at the end; you can edit their heading, description, and button but not remove them. (See: Content blocks & fields.)

Arrange, require, and preview

Reorder blocks and fields, set fields required, edit each block's heading and description, then use Preview to fill out the form exactly as a submitter would (nothing is actually submitted).

Build it with AI

Ask Springform AI to draft the whole form from a description, add a section, rewrite a question, or set character limits — it edits the blocks and fields directly.

FAQs & common issues

  • Can submitters save and come back? Yes, if they sign in — the form shows a sign up / log in option, and their progress is saved to their account so they can resume on any device. Anonymous submissions are accepted, but progress isn't saved to an account. (See: Submit an application.)
